Today, I am teaming up with London Drugs Beauty to teach you all how to use the Ardell Magnetic Lashes. With that being said, this is a sponsored post. But, all opinions expressed are 100% my own.
How to Apply Ardell Magnetic Lashes
If you’ve been following my Youtube channel then you likely know that I rarely wear false lashes.
Don’t get me wrong – I love how they look, but sometimes they can be a total hassle to apply.
The glue for traditional lashes can be incredibly messy and sticky, and it can be a bit tricky to know just how long to wait before applying them.
If the glue isn’t tacky enough when you go to apply your lashes, then you run the risk of ruining your entire eye makeup look. Or, if you wait too long, the glue dries out and you need to clean the lash before trying again.
For this reason, when I first heard about magnetic lashes, I was immediately curious to try them out for myself.
No glue? No messiness? No waiting for the glue to get tacky? Yep, count me in!
Ardell recently released their new Magnetic Eyelashes at London Drugs.
These lashes retail for $19.99 and since you don’t use glue to apply them, you can really re-use and re-wear them over and over again.
[easy-image-collage id=6762]I have worn mine about 8 times now and they are in perfect condition still. The style I like most is their Ardell Beauty Double 110 Magnetic lash.
While I love big full lashes, I tend to prefer softer, fluffier, and more natural looking lashes which is why I love the Double 110.

Now, I know what you’re thinking: these must be so difficult to apply! And, initially – they are. They take some practice getting used to, but once you do they are a total dream to wear.
Honestly, they take about the same amount of practice that normal lashes do.
What I like about magnetic lashes though is that you can practice with them without ruining the lash or your makeup because you aren’t dealing with any glue.
Don’t worry if they take you a few tries to apply, just like applying regular lashes – these have a learning curve.
After a couple of days of working with these, I found that I was able to apply them super quickly.
How to Apply Ardell Magnetic Lashes:
Step One:
Position the upper lash on top of your lashes, you almost want to position it on the edge of your eyelid.
Step Two:
Take the under lash and hold it underneath your lashes. The magnet on the bottom lash will drag the upper lash off your lid and onto the lash line.
Step Three:
If it drags it out too much on the outer corner, just lightly pinch them together and push them in towards your lash line. (Don’t worry, the magnetics won’t hurt or pinch your eyes as you do this!)
Finished!

Ardell Magnetic Lashes Pro Tip:
My biggest tip to applying these lashes is to trim them first. I trim both the top and bottom magnetic lash to either the second or third lash.
This way, you only apply 2-3 magnetics (2-3 on the top, 2-3 on the bottom) rather than 4 (4 on the top, 4 on the bottom).
To do this, pair your magnetic lashes together (sandwich them and match up there magnetics) and cut right after the second magnet nearest to the center of the lash.

I have seen magnetic lashes from another brand on you YouTube, but never paid much attention to that brand but the Adrell ones look so much better. I may have to try these!

Yeah these are great, especially the double 110s! Plus, a lot of other magnetic lash brands are SUPER expensive and I believe these ones are around $19 – which is much more affordable than others I’ve seen online. I’ve been really impressed with them!!

I get really frustrated when the glue doesn’t dry properly for the false lashes. Love the fact that these are magnetic. Would love to try them one day! 😀

Witch ones am.I sapose to cut upper or lower
Bree says
Both! They both wedge onto your upper lashes so you need to cut both sides.

They didn’t work for me I try to put them on and would fall off me I didn’t for 20 minutes and still they can off and I lost one of lashes, I wouldn’t buy them anymore, money waste
Bree says
Did you buy the Ardell ones? I have found they can slip (especially if its windy out) but I just pinch them and push them back in place. They shouldn’t fall off unless the magnets aren’t matched up properly? Did you wedge the lashes on either side of your top lashes?
D. Hutcherson says
Beautiful explanation. No doubt, eyelash extensions process heightens the appealing looks.

I hear very good responses too!! I always looked after my own lashes and at least applied Cherish Lash growth serum, but when I went them extremely big, I wear falsies. Must take a chance on magnetic now!!
