This is a sponsored post. All opinions noted within this Coco and Eve Hair Mask Review are 100% my own. I put this mask through a very thorough trial before writing my review so that I could give you the most sincere and honest review possible.

Coco and Eve Hair Mask Review

When you have processed hair, one of the most important steps in your hair care routine is deep conditioning.

I’ve been deep conditioning my hair 1-2 times weekly for years – since I was about 14 and I had my very first highlights put in.

Soft Silky Hair with Coco & Eve Coconut & Fig Hair Mask

In the last couple of years, I’ve really gotten lazy with my updating my hair colour and style.

So, a few weeks ago, when I refreshed my hair colour, I wanted to be pretty preemptive about my haircare and changing it over to more hydrating and nourishing products.

One of the biggest changes in my hair care has been with the Coco and Eve Hair Mask Like a Virgin Super Nourishing Coconut & Fig Hair Mask.

This super hydrating hair mask has really improved how healthy my hair looks and feels, and it’s really helped my hair “bounce back” from my recent hair colour update.

How to Apply the Coco and Eve Mask

First, you want to shampoo your hair using your normal shampoo. Then lightly towel dry your hair.  Once your hair is towel-dried, apply the mask and softly distribute the Coco and Eve hair mask through your hair using the handy tangle tamer (valued at $15) provided in your conditioning set.

Leave the mask on for about 10 minutes, and then rinse it out. If you have dry or damaged hair, then it’s recommended you apply the mask 2-3 times weekly (I used it twice), if you have normal or oily hair, then apply it only 1-2 times weekly.

How the Coco and Eve Hair Mask Works:

This mask is enriched with coconuts, figs, shea butter, linseed, and argan oil. These hydrating properties help improve the texture of your hair to leave you with smooth and healthy feeling tresses.

While this mask is supposed to be great for all hair types, I have found it particularly incredible on my damaged and typically dry-prone hair.

I was initially pretty nervous to use the tangle tamer in my hair when wet as I’ve always heard brushing your hair while it’s wet or damp can be very damaging.

But I actually found that the mask acted as light a barrier and really did just glide through my usually tangle-prone hair. It didn’t snag, rip, or break my hair at all – hallelujah!

Note: aside from this experience, I never brush my hair when wet since that’s when it’s its most fragile and breakage-prone.

I think the only reason this was okay was because the mask helps to detangle your hair so that when you’re brushing it, it doesn’t snag or rip.
