DIY Bath Bombs
The holidays always are a time of year that re-ignite my love for DIY projects. While I love shopping and finding the perfect gift, I also really love making gifts for my friends and families. Sometimes, I’ll bake up some holiday treats, like my favourite Chocolate Kiss Peanut Butter cookies, and other times I’ll get a little creative with my crafts.

So how do you make these bath bombs?
Making these bath bombs is SO easy. You simply combine all the ingredients, mix them together well, and then pack them into the cookie cutter shape or muffin tin to create their form. Following that, you bake them on a super low heat in the oven just to speed up the drying process.

What ingredients do you need?
You will need coconut oil, baking soda, lemon juice, essential oils, and food colouring.
You can also add in sprinkles, glitter, whatever you like!

How long does it take?
This really only takes about 5 minutes to make, and then about 30-40 minutes to bake in the oven.

What essential oils did you use?
I used lavender, mint, and eucalyptus in my bath bombs. Some batches I just use one or the other, or sometimes I mix the essential oils. You can use whichever you like best! I often either purchaseCalia Essential Oils, or Saje Essential Oils.

What kinds of oils can you use?
I used coconut oil in this recipe, but you can really use any oil you’d like.

Do they still fizz without the citric acid
I’m not sure if it would – I would think so, but rather than skip the lemon juice step entirely I would recommend using a replacement like white vinegar.
if using standard muffin tin size, how many bombs should this recipe yield?
I used a standard muffin tin and made six. I do not fill them completely though!
