I love spa days at home. There’s something so nice, so calming, and so refreshing about spending some time just doing face and hair masks, painting your nails, and relaxing at home. Especially during the winter months, I just love making my home my own comfy cozy oasis.
[easy-image-collage id=7632]Matcha has a ton of health benefits. When you drink matcha, it’s said to improve mental clarity, remove toxins from the body, boost metabolism and energy, and encourage physical and mental calmness.
Let’s Talk About Matcha in Skincare.
When matcha is in skincare, it can help keep your skin soft, clear, and balanced. Matcha is rich in chlorophyll which helps detoxify your skin and fight harmful toxins in order to protect your skin. Also, Matcha is rich in antioxidants which can help reduce inflammation and puffiness in your skin.

DIY Matcha Face Mask for Clear Glowy Skin
What else in this face mask?
In this DIY matcha face mask, I also added honey and olive oil.
Honey is said to help moisturize your skin, and increase “glowiness”. Honey is also naturally antibacterial so it helps remove dirt and grit from your skin to encourage healthier and clearer skin.
Olive oil is said to be anti-aging. If you have dry skin, then you’ll love how olive oil helps moisturize and soothe your skin.

This made more than enough for one mask. How long can I store it? And I assume it should be stored in a sealed container at room temperature due to the honey.

I would store it in the fridge and use it within 2 weeks.

Matcha is very high in antioxidants, especially catechins. Matcha is packed with chlorophyll, and multiple other nutrients like Vitamin A, C, K & B-complex, a combination that prevents cell degeneration and premature ageing. It protects skin from sun damage and reduce photo-aging, which means less wrinkles & sun spots. Use Detoxie matcha rich products.
