The Dr. Belmeur Daily Repair Skincare Collection was sent to me by The Face Shop. I have been testing this skincare trio out and have really been loving it! All opinions noted are 100% my own!
The Face Shop Dr. Belmeur Daily Repair Skincare Collection Review
Pretty much right before each season, I’ll change up my skincare routine. I won’t “overhaul” my routine exactly, but I’ll swap out heavier products for lighter ones.
During the spring-to-summer transition, my skin always goes through a fairly unbalanced phase. There are super dry spots and some oily spots, and so I need to be careful with what I use.
I don’t want to over-hydrate my skin and have a breakout, but I also don’t want to neglect the drier sections of my face.
Over the last two weeks, I’ve been using The Face Shop Dr. Belmeur skincare and I’ve been really impressed with how soothing it is on my skin.
Oh yeah, that’s the other fun thing about my skin – it’s quite sensitive – so using skincare products with heavy scents or harsh chemicals isn’t an option for me.
“Formulated without 10 additives and artificial fragrance, Dr.Belmeur provides gentle skin care and barrier-enhancing solution.
Skin-sync Rx is Dr.Belmeur’s custom-made formula that offers key solutions to common skin problems, thanks to skin-friendly activating plant-base component similar to the skin’s structure.”
A few years ago I became totally hooked on The Face Shops Blanclouding White Moisture Cream. But for some reason, I forgot about how much I loved this moisturizer, and I just ventured off to find new skincare.
I always do that, I find a brand I love and then I forget about it – what’s with that? I think this is part of the problem of loving products and always trying out new things. You LOVE a product, set it aside, and then forget just how great it was!
Anyways, when The Face Shop reached out to me to try out a few of their products from the Dr. Belmeur Daily Repair skincare collection.
I immediately remembered how much I loved the Blanclouding White Moisture Cream a few years ago, and I jumped at the opportunity to try more of their skincare.

DAILY REPAIR TONER
“A mild toner that calms skin and boosts moisture. Daily mild moisturizing solution. Skin-sync Rx™ containing phytoshpingosine, moroheiya, and birch tree sap is used to help form a moisture layer to calm dry skin.
Formulated without 9 additives: parabens, synthetic pigments, triethanolamine, mineral oil, benzophenone-3, animal-derived ingredients, propylene glycol, talc, and benzoic acid.
Allergen-free fragrance: formulated without 26 types of additives with possible allergens. Dermatologically tested.”
I love a good toner, and I was not disappointed with the Dr. Belmeur Daily Repair Skincare Toner.
This toner is formulated with a low-irritant formula which makes a great product for those of us that have somewhat sensitive skin.
[easy-image-collage id=7733]My skin is fairly sensitive (though in the last few years, it’s gotten a bit better) and I have had really poor reactions to skincare before so I was impressed by how soothed and healthy my skin felt after using this Toner.
A bottle of the toner is $28.00 and contains 200ml of product which is quite a bit. The bottle itself is super convenient and allows you to get the product easily, and you’ll be able to use the entire bottle rather than having any wasted by being impossible to get to at the bottom.
The texture of the Dr. Belmeur Daily Repair Skincare toner is fairly watery. It’s a clear liquid that is slightly thicker than water, but not heavy or thick. I know many apply their toners with a cotton pad, but I like to apply it by gently patting it on my skin with clean hands.
I have just found that this way I am not pulling or dragging a swab around my skin, instead I am getting all the product on my skin without any damage.
What makes this toner extra special and so hydrating is the Polymeric Water Gel System. This ingredient is actually what helps hold moisture in the skin, and improves your skin’s moisture barrier over time.
DAILY REPAIR MOISTURIZER
“A low-irritant moisturizer that calms sensitive skin and protects skin damaged by the external environment. Daily low-irritant moisturizing solution: Contains phytoshpingosine, moroheiya, birch tree sap, and Skin-sync Rx™ which helps form a moisture layer to calm dry skin.
Formulated without 9 additives: parabens, synthetic pigments, triethanolamine, mineral oil, benzophenone-3, animal-derived ingredients, propylene glycol, talc, and benzoic acid.
Allergen-free fragrance: formulated without 26 types of additives with possible allergens, to minimize skin irritation. Dermatologically tested.”
One thing I’ve neglected in the past is using a daily moisturizer. Mainly, I’ve skipped this part of my morning routine because I have fairly balanced skin and sometimes have found moisturizers make my skin feel sticky or tacky.
What I love about this moisturizer is how light it feels on my skin. This moisturizer is so smooth and creamy but manages to not feel heavy.
I have really liked how it has made my skin feel, and I’ve found that overall when I use it in the morning (following the toner) that it makes my makeup apply a million times smoother.
One thing I have struggled with is dry patches, and my makeup clinging to drier areas, but this moisturizer really helps to smooth out those dry areas.
A tube of this moisturizer comes with 120ml of product and retails at $32.00. I really love the fragrance of this moisturizer as it has a very subtle citrus scent to it.
DAILY REPAIR ATO SALT CREAM
“Mineral salt cream that provides deep moisturization and itch relief for dry skin. Skin-moisturizing and barrier-enhancing solution.
Contains sea salt, peony extract, phytosphingosine, and ceramide. Skin-sync Rx™ is used to help maintain healthy skin, including moisturizing and treating dry, flaky skin, relieving itching, and stretching the skin barrier.
Formulated without 10 additives: parabens, synthetic pigments, artificial fragrance, triethanolamine, mineral oil, benzophenone-3, propylene glycol, ethanol, talc, and benzoic acid.
Formulated without artificial fragrance: comfortable on the skin, formulated without artificial fragrance. Dermatologically tested.”
The real “wow” product amongst the set is definitely The Daily Repair Ato Salt Cream.
This cream is much thicker than the daily repair moisturizer and contains 8% Dead Sea Salt. While it’s great for those with dry skin, it is supposed to be incredible for those who struggle with eczema.
Since this is a more intensely hydrating product, I decided to use it at night rather than in the morning with the other two products. Allowing it to sink in overnight meant that my skin felt seriously amazing in the morning.
One thing I was surprised about this product was I loved using it on my face as well as drier parts of my body, too – like my elbows and knees.
This is the smallest bottle of the 3 products today as it only gives you 80ml for $42.00. While it is expensive for the amount you’re given, the product is fantastic and well worth it in my opinion.

The salt cream was my favorite too! I was actually using it on my upper arms as I have really dry skin and it totally helped!
