Farmacy Beauty’s Honey Grail Ultra-Hydrating Face Oil moisturizes to give you a smooth and radiant complexion.
By now, you likely know I am a fan of Farmacy Beauty products.
I mentioned both the Farmacy Beauty Honey Grail oil and Farmacy Honeymoon Glow AHA/BHA Acid in my recent Updated Summer Skincare Routine.
I reviewed the Farmacy Honeymoon Glow AHA/BHA Acid in its own separate review post and really raved about it – it’s one of my favourite products.
And, honestly, I’ve probably mentioned these products on my Instagram stories about 100 times!
The truth is… Farmacy just has some great products!

Honey in Skincare?
Honey has been found to be very moisturizing to the skin so if you’re like me and struggle with dry skin or dry patches you’ll likely find this really helps target those spots. In addition, honey is said to be antibacterial which means its great for those with acne-prone skin. And, since honey is full of healthy antioxidants is can help protect the skin from harmful free radicals.
How to Use:
Online, Farmacy Beauty notes that you can apply this to your face, body, and hair for deep and intense hydration.
After removing my makeup, cleansing and toning my skin, I then apply my moisturizers and serums.
You want to make sure your skin is nice and clean before you add any hydrators to your skin. If you don’t you’ll find that your skin can become more blemish prone and clogged.
I place about 3 little dabs on my face – one on my forehead, and one on either cheek and then rub it into my skin.
Or, I apply a larger amount just in my hands and them smooth it over my skin.
You can use this both in the morning and the evening, but I tend to just use it in the evening.
Since my skin is quite balanced right now, I find that using richer oils and serums on my skin twice a day can make my skin feel a little oily/over-moisturized.
Texture:
The texture of this is like a thicker gel when you first apply it. Then, once you blend it out it heats up under your fingers and becomes thinner and more like a rich creamy oil.
You may find that this oil feels slightly sticky or tacky on the skin. Since it is a thicker oil, there is a slight residue when applied.
For this reason, I recommend only using a small amount and then blending it over the skin as it’s easy to go overboard with this product.
Also, I find that since its such a great and heavy hydrating product that using it overnight is a great way to wake up with super moisturized and healthy looking skin.
Is the Farmacy Beauty Honey Grail Oil a Multi-Purpose Treatment?
YES!
In the little information packet I received with this product, it notes the Farmacy Honey Grail Oil as a multipurpose oil.
You’re supposed to be able to use it in it your hair, as a facial serum, on your body, and even add it into your makeup.
Facial Oil
After a few times of using this serum on my face at night and in the morning, I realized that this serum may just be one I wanted to use in the evenings. The reason is simply because it is a richer serum and it does leave a bit of a residue to my skin.
As an evening serum, it’s great. It feels like a heavy-duty serum and it really does target dryness. I’ve found that whenever I use this I wake up with super healthy and moisturized looking skin. I love it.

In makeup, I’ve found that a small amount goes a long way. I only add a small drop or two of this serum into my matte foundations, otherwise it can make my foundation feel a bit sticky. A few drops just makes foundation sit more naturally and gives foundation a overall more satin-like finish.
As a Hair Serum
I’m not going to lie to you – I was pretty nervous to use this serum on my hair.
I wasn’t worried about using it on my face since my skin needs something deeply moisturizing; and I wasn’t even worried about using it in makeup – since I like to add serums to some of my more matte-finish foundations to make them look a bit more natural and less chalky on the skin.
Now, I’m not going to start loading my hair up with this serum. It is still quite a thick serum and I worry about it being too heavy for my fine hair. But, after I apply this to my face, if I have any serum left on my hands I’ll then run it through my hair. I find this slight amount is just enough to add some shine.
Farmacy Beauty Honey Grail Review
When I received the Farmacy Honey Grail Ultra-Hydrating Face Oil a few months ago I was really excited to try it out. I immediately added it into my skincare routine and have been using it ever since.
I was quite surprised by how rich this oil is. Most face oils I’ve used feel much thinner, and like an oil. The Farmacy Honey Grail Ultra-Hydrating Face Oi isn’t a thin oil, instead it’s a thicker more gel-like oil. It’s still a liquid but it’s almost like a honey consistency without being as sticky.
If you have dry skin or dry-prone skin (like I do) you’ll love this product.
I feel like during the winter, I’ll really use this product all the time – likely in the AM and PM. My skin gets super dry and flaky during the winter season and since this is so rich I think it’ll be one of my top go-to products.
Right now though, I love to use it as an evening treatment to keep my skin moisturized and smooth.
Over the last few months, I’ve really found myself looking forward to using this product. It’s a part of my skincare routine that I just really enjoy as it really does make my skin feel so smooth, soft, and hydrated.
I love how rich and luxurious it feels on the skin and I’ve been surprised by how glowy my skin looks when I wake up in the AM. I may be tired when I wake up at 6AM, but at least my skin doesn’t look it!
