For months I have wanted to try out a coffee-based body scrub.
The biggest issue I kept running into was that so many of the Instagram-famous scrubs didn’t ship into Canada. Well, that was until I stumbled across Frank Body Scrub.
Frank Body Scrub is available worldwide which means finally, we Canadian girls can have gorgeous, exfoliated, and moisturized skin that’s promised from coffee-based scrubs. Best of all, Frank does not test on animals and only uses all-natural ingredients!

Frank Body Scrub Review
Over the last few years, I have thought I should take better care of my skin on both my face and body by creating a more set routine; And so, when I kept seeing reviews and photos online of Frank Body Scrub results, I knew it was something I wanted to try out.
The results and reviews online appeared to be immediate and showed smoother, healthier, and glowing skin – I mean, who doesn’t want that? And even more so now, with Jer & I planning our next trip out, I want something that’ll give me healthier-looking and moisturized skin while I am beach-bound and bikini-clad.

Ingredients:
Coffea Robusta Seed Powder (Coffee), Water (Aqua), Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Sodium Chloride (Salt), Sucrose (Brown Sugar), Mentha Arvensis (Peppermint) Leaf Oil, Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Juice, Prostanthera Incisa (Native Mint) Leaf Extract, Glycerin, Sodium Benzoate, Citric Acid (Corn), Potassium Sorbate, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil, Benzyl Alcohol (Cinnamon Derived). Total Naturally Derived: 99.99%
The Scent:
All I can really say about it is: I’m totally hooked. I suppose I should’ve known right away that I would fall in love with the Frank Body Scrub since I am pretty much obsessed with all things mint.
I LOVED how intensely our house smelled of peppermint, it was so fresh and invigorating.

How to use the Frank Body Scrub:
On the Frank Body Website, you’ll find a detailed list of how to use their scrub – but here’s a simple breakdown:
1. Hop into the shower
2. Apply the scrub to your skin and rub it in circular motions to exfoliate your skin. Allow it to sit on the skin for about 3 minutes.
3. After 3 minutes rinse it off.
4. When you get out of the shower, apply a moisturizer.
How often should you use the Frank Body Scrub?
I personally have been using this about 3 times a week, though they do say online that the scrub can be used 5 times a week. It really depends on your skin and how sensitive it is.

Can I use the Frank Body Scrub on my face?
I did and I didn’t have any issues with it. However, Frank Body has since released a Face Scrub that is supposed to be more gentle on the skin. So, if you have sensitive skin you may want to try the Frank Body Face Scrub instead.

What are the benefits of the Frank Body Scrub?
This scrub is said to even out your skin tone by reducing the look of breakouts, scars, cellulite, and stretch marks.

My thoughts on the Frank Body Scrub:
Like I said before – what first struck me was the scent. Upon opening the bag, the mixture of coffee + peppermint was so rich and refreshing, it immediately woke me up.
Once I applied the scrub all over (even my face!) I then rubbed the gritty coffee grinds into my skin in circular motions as it’s noted on the Frank Body Scrub instructions.
While the coffee grinds exfoliate your skin, the peppermint leaves a cool tingly feeling which was equally as refreshing as the scent itself!
After a few minutes, I rinsed off my Frank Body Peppermint Coffee scrub and immediately I noticed that my skin felt smoother. And, I also felt like I could tell that my skin looked a bit more moisturized and glowy.

The downside?
The one downside of this scrub? It’s super messy. Like, seriously it gets all over the shower. If you’re willing to deal with a bit of a mess, then I feel the results are worth it.

I've never even heard of such a thing! But you look beautiful in these pictures!
I'm going to join the chorus here and say you look so pretty!! I'm thinking of trying to diy some body scrub- winter has me feeling scaly! But this looks like a really great option
Haha, great pics!!!:D
Girl you are so beautiful such a wonderful cracking smile and eyes that are hypnotic! I have not tried the Peppermint scrub myself yet but have the original and the coconut and that one just smells pure divine! I'm nuts about coconut products anyway but definitely do give this one a try and yes, although it can get messy (which is half the fun) it makes your skin feel so awesome after. You got #TheFrankEffect.
