After sharing my “Gifts for Her” guide the other day, I decided to do a little poll on Instagram asking you guys who you find most difficult to buy for on your holiday shopping list. Overwhelmingly the results showed that men tend to be the most difficult people to buy for.

I don’t know why husbands, boyfriends, fathers, and brothers are so tough to buy for – but they just are! And believe me, I struggle each and every year with choosing the right gift for them, too.

However, this year, I’ve been doing a bit of planning ahead – and also been listening (with a little more intention) to what the men in my family have mentioned over the last few months as to things they wish they had or should get – hello, gift ideas!

My husband is absolutely golf obsessed which is why anything golf-related ends up being a great gift for him. He also loves going hiking so I try to keep that in mind when I am searching for a gift idea. He also loves to cook which always gives me lots of ideas as well. 

If your husband, boyfriend, friend, dad, or brother has a hobby that they absolutely love then try to find something that will complement that. 

Get them Something Relaxing

These are some high-stress times and I think everyone could use a little R&R and a little self-care. A pair of cozy PJs, a peel-off face mask (my husband personally loves those!), or a new skincare routine could help encourage the people you love to take a moment for themselves to relax and unwind a bit. 

Give them something fun!

This year, I think we could all use a little fun. Depending on what you’re looking to spend, you could splurge on a luxury gift like a Nintendo Switch or grab a board game for some fun for the whole family. Here are a few board games that we absolutely love:
