This super healthy and easy-to-make Glow Boosting Apple Carrot Juice Recipe is a great way to give your health an overall boost after the holidays.
Over the holidays, I overindulged.
No, really – I did.
I ate too many treats, over-filled my plate with stuffing and mash potatoes (my favourites *drool emoji*), and enjoyed a few too many glasses of wine.
It was a fun couple of days, but by the end of it – I was feeling pretty much like a food-zombie.
Always by New Years, I am ready to get back to my normal healthy eating.
I have maintained a pretty healthy lifestyle since I was a teenager, so days of decadent eating really does affect my mood, my energy, and my skin.
I was (and honestly, still am a bit) feeling sluggish and whenever I feel sluggish, I get juicing.
[easy-image-collage id=7244]We got our juicer a few years ago, and since then it’s been one of those items that we pull out time and time again when we feel we need a healthy boost. And really, is there any time you feel like you need a healthy boost more than after an overly decadent holiday?
I mentioned this earlier, but one thing that really takes a hit when I am eating unhealthy is my skin. I find an unhealthy diet really makes my skin blemish-prone as well as somewhat dull looking.
Since my skin has been feeling particularly lackluster these last few days, I decided to bring out the big guns, also known as, our juicer, and make this Glow Boosting Apple Carrot Juice Recipe.
A Healthy Dose of Vitamin A
Both apples and carrots are rich in Vitamin A, a vitamin that is actually known for helping maintain and encourage healthy skin.
Vitamin A also helps boost collagen levels in the body and apparently even helps get rid of acne. It’s kind of a miracle worker, eh?
And a Little Bit of Vitamin C!
Apples and carrots also contain another super-vitamin, Vitamin C. Vitamin C has a ton of healing properties that help you get over colds (or, prevent them), it helps your body heal faster, and it reduces inflammation.
To this day, I take vitamin C whenever I am feeling a bit under the weather to get back to feeling healthy again.
The Oranges Help Out in a Major Way, too!
This Glow-Boosting Apple Carrot Juice Recipe doesn’t stop at apples and carrots, it also has oranges in it!
Oranges contain a high amount of Vitamin C which, as mentioned earlier, helps fight free radicals to prevent your skin from aging, and assists in collagen production.
Overall, this is a great health juice that gives you a ton of amazing vitamins fast so that you, your energy, your skin, and overall health get that much-needed post-holiday boost (or whenever, really)
[easy-image-collage id=7245]And, did I mention it tastes great?
This health-packed Glow-Boosting Apple Carrot Juice Recipe tastes seriously delicious so if you’re thinking of making a juice for your kids, family, or friends – they’ll absolutely love this.

Looking for a delicious and healthy juice recipe to get your health back on track? This Glow-Boosting Apple Carrot Juice Recipe is perfect for getting a surge of health back into your daily diet.
Ingredients
- 2 large carrots
- 2-3 Granny Smith apples
- 2 oranges
- Optional: You can also add a thumb of ginger and/or lemon (great if you're feeling under the weather)
Instructions
- Start your Glow Boosting Apple Carrot Juice Recipe by cutting the tops of the carrots off (where the green leaves are, or where the harder root-edge is). You will not need this part so you can go ahead and add that to your green bin.
- Next, cut your apples into quarters. Be sure to remove the seeds as they are poisonous and can be dangerous if consumed. You definitely do not want them in your juice!
- After that, you'll want to cut your oranges in quarters. I personally leave the skin on because it contains so many vitamins but that is completely optional. If you'd prefer to remove the skin then absolutely do so!
- Now it's time to actually start juicing! Begin by adding the carrots into the juicer.
- Now, add your oranges.
- Lastly, add your apples.
- Mix all the juices together with a large spoon so that they are fully mixed together.
- Enjoy!
Notes
- You may notice your juicing container is too small to juice all the ingredients into. In this case, you'll need a secondary container to pour your juice into as you go.
- Feel free to add in other fruits or vegetables to really make this recipe your own! I often find myself using veggies and fruits that are about to turn just to make sure we aren't wasting anything in our fridge.

I am sorry you feel that way! Unfortunately, that is how I am able to keep my website running as it does cost money to run a website. I’ll look into reducing the ads in the future. Have a good one!
