Glowy Foundation Routine

I may have mentioned this before (no, I’ve definitely mentioned it like a million times – sorry for my repetition!) but I typically don’t wear foundation. I will go days, weeks, months, sometimes even years (no, not actually – just days) completely makeup-free. But, that doesn’t mean I don’t have a go-to foundation look. When I go out and want to look a bit more put together and glam, I have found myself turning to this super glowy foundation routine.

Defying Expectations

While I like matte foundations, I find the satin finish and hydrating foundations appear more natural and are more forgiving on my skin. Since I have dry-prone skin, matte foundations can sometimes make my skin appear even drier than it actually is. The Too Faced Born this Way Foundation has a very natural, radiant finish and is medium to full coverage. It’s surprisingly comfortable and lightweight feeling when applied, and it even feels somewhat hydrating on my skin.

Application Process for My Glowy Foundation Makeup Routine

Once I’ve applied the Too Faced Born This Way Foundation, it’s then time to highlight! I first go in with the Farsali Jellybeam highlighter. This is a jelly formula and I’ve found it’s easiest to blend this highlighter out with your fingers. To really amplify that glow, I then go in with the Smashbox Spotlight Palette. I use the lightest shade to highlight the cheekbones, nose, and cupid’s bow.
