This Grapefruit Pisco Sour is bright and refreshing, and deliciously tart. It is the PERFECT cocktail for your next sunny patio day.

I mentioned back in my New Year’s post that because of our move, we would be staying in more.
I’m pretty sure I said something along the lines of “staying home more, trying new recipes at home, and dining out less” and since our move, we really have stuck to that. We’ve been trying new recipes, having more nights in, and simply just enjoying our new home.

While most of the new recipes we’ve been trying lately have been food, a few have been cocktails.
We’ve also been fans of pisco sours, and so when our friend recently went to Chile and brought us back a bottle of pisco we decided to dive into it.

Grapefruit Pisco Sour with Orange Bitters
Recently, we got a little more creative and made a Grapefruit Pisco Sour, and let me tell you: they are my latest and greatest obsession.
These delicious Grapefruit Sours are refreshing, bright, and absolutely delicious. To me, they are the perfect sunny day patio drink.

I don’t know about you guys, but during the summer I pretty much live outdoors. I am either at the beach, at the park, on the sea wall, or hanging on a patio.
This coming summer I’ll be able to add to that list of options as I’ll also be able to sit on our own patio as we now have a lovely outdoor space to enjoy.
I can already foresee many Saturday afternoons out on the patio with friends, sipping these delicious Grapefruit Pisco Sours. Yum.
