When it comes to my hair, I either love it or hate it.

One day I want to grow it long long long, and the next I think I should chop it all off because it’s simply “not working” for me. I’ve had some highs and lows with my hair, and I know that may seem melodramatic – but it’s the truth.

While. I usually have a few hair care items (like the Milkshake Silver Shampoo!) that always seem to make it on my shopping list, I am also always looking for new products to improve upon the old – or even replace them.

Lately, I’ve been feeling like my deep conditioning treatment routine needed a little shakeup. 

I often do hot oil treatments on my hair, or I’ll use a hair mask for an hour or two – but, sometimes I find that my hair almost gets used to a product and that I need to use something new to kind of revive it again. 

After talking to Socialite Beauty I decided to give a whirl. They sent this over to me after reviewing my hair care needs (pretty much just repair, moisturize, and tame the frizz!) and I am super excited to share my review of Grow Gorgeous Overnight to Gorgeous Hair Masque!

A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to be a part of a really fun blogger collaboration in Vancouver. But while it was a ton of fun, I really over-styled my hair with heat tools.

I honestly was worried that I had done a bit of damage, and after all the hard work I’ve put into getting my hair healthy these last few months, I knew I wanted to treat my hair to a little TLC.

So, Saturday night I made an evening of it. I put my Grow Gorgeous Overnight to Gorgeous Hair Masque in my hair,  applied a face mask, painted my nails, put on a movie, and settled in for a night of relaxation.

RESULTS:

The next morning when I rinsed out my hair I initially thought my hair would feel weighed down with product, as other products for “overnight” conditioning I’ve usually found that. I was surprised that my hair actually didn’t feel weight down at all, and it instead felt really silky, soft, and healthy.

I let my hair dry naturally (just another way I am trying to get my hair in tip-top health!) and found that my waves appeared very silky and shiny.

I had read online that the smell of this conditioner was really incredible, and I have to agree with all those other reviews out there. The smell is nothing short of lovely, and it’s quite a light scent which I like.
