7 Hair Products Every Blonde Should Use

Hair Products Every Blonde Should Use: Today I am sharing a few essential hair care products to keep your blonde soft, healthy, and brass-free.

Hair Products Every Blonde Should Use (asap)

Let’s be honest: blonde hair can be pretty high maintenance.

As a blonde myself, I know the time and effort that goes into taking care of the colour and health of my lightened hair.

It’s no secret that bleached all-over or highlighted hair is often damaged hair. The fact is, to achieve that bright sunny blonde colour you need to use bleach and bleach dries out your hair and causes it to be more fragile. When hair is over bleached it’ll feel brittle, and fragile, and you’ll experience breakage and split ends.

Hair Products Every Blonde Should Use (ASAP)

A Gentle Daily Shampoo & Conditioner

Blonde hair tends to be dry, so when it comes to daily hair products, you’ll want to invest in some gentle and natural in-shower hair care products. Using a sudsy shampoo on your hair every day will lead to even more dry and damaged hair. Rather than using a normal shampoo every day, invest in a low-suds shampoo that is free from sulfates and harsh cleansing agents.

Clarifying Shampoo

About 1-2 times a week (depending on how often I exercise, how many events I attend, etc.) I will use a clarifying shampoo just to remove any build-up in my hair.

Since my usual shampoo is quite gentle and natural, it can cause a bit of build-up after using it for a few days. To remove that, I’ll use a clarifying once a week. Clarifying shampoos are often quite drying though and I do not recommend it for daily use.

A Purple Shampoo

To keep my hair 100% brass-free, I use MilkShake Silver shampoo. The way to fix brassy hair is by using a great purple shampoo, and finally, I found one that really works. My hair is very brass-prone so I find using a purple shampoo regularly essential to keeping my blonde bright and brass-free.

The MilkShake Silver shampoo has been a game-changer for me and has really been able to remove brassy tones from my hair.

A Moisturizing Leave-in Conditioner

After showering, the first product I use in my hair is some sort of leave-in conditioning spray. For about a year now, I’ve used Pureology Colour Fanatic Multi-Tasking Leave-in Spray. This product has been a miracle worker on my hair and has helped it feel softer and healthier.

A Hair Serum

Having a great hair serum is 100% essential for healthier-looking hair hair. Blonde hair is prone to being dry and brittle which is why a serum is so important. After you wash your hair or use heat tools, you’ll want to apply a small amount of serum to the ends of your hair to help it look and feel soft and smooth.

When you apply the serum, apply it only from about the ear level down, avoiding the roots. When you apply the serum on or near to your roots it’ll often result in making your hair appear very oily.

Hair Masks & Treatments That I Love:

Moroccanoil Restorative Hair Mask

A deep conditioner is a vital part of any blonde’s hair care routine. I have always used Moroccanoil Restorative Hair Mask deep conditioners, but lately, I have been using their Moroccanoil Restorative Hair Mask in particular.

I like to use a masque like this once a week to keep my hair soft and healthy. After using heat tools on my hair throughout the week, I find that treating my hair to a masque is a great way to add a surge of moisture back into my hair.

Olaplex 3 Hair Perfector

Olaplex 3 has been a game-changer for my hair. Olaplex 3 is a product I’ve been using for the last few months and has really helped improve the look and feel of my hair. You can actually read my full Olaplex 3 review here.

Olaplex 3 claims to be a hair reparative rather than a deep conditioning treatment as it doesn’t actually add moisture, it acts as a binding agent and heals your hair follicles. I’ve found that, with consistent use, it has made my hair feel much healthier, stronger, and more manageable.

My heart is absolutely bursting right now. I can’t believe our little Liam is here. He is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. He loves his sleep, is unbelievably strong, and is a total cuddle bug. Our hearts are so full 🤍🤍🤍

We had our scheduled c-section for the morning of May 3 and we knew going into it that there were two surgical routes that would be considered because of my prior spinal surgery. The first, the more routine c-section with either an epidural or spinal anaesthesia. The second, being fully put under with general anesthesia. I’ll be honest, I really thought we would be going with the first option(s) and that GA wouldn’t really be on the table. I didn’t want it on the table, but after speaking to the anesthesiologist, it became clear that it was the safest option. It was an emotional decision, I was really scared to be honest. It was not made lightly. I was walked into the OR at about 10:00am and by 10:13am, Liam was earthside and screaming. Jeremy was there to cut the cord and give him his first cuddles. It took me a bit longer to get to see our Liam because of this surgical route, and I feel so lucky knowing Jeremy was there to be with him in his first moments. He already is such a great dad 🤍

The last 48 hours have been a wonderful whirlwind. We are all doing well. We feel incredibly blessed to have our sweet Liam here💙
