Why You Need Bloglovin

While my blog is predominantly a style, beauty, & lifestyle blog – I also really love sharing the blogging tips I’ve been lucky enough to learn over the past few years.   Sure, I love all things style + beauty – but I also am truly addicted to the behind-the-scenes work of blogging. It keeps me interested and excited to post each day, and today I am excited to share a little bit I’ve learned from Bloglovin.

Let’s Talk about Bloglovin

If you haven’t signed up for your own personal or professional blog up on Bloglovin yet, I can promise you by the end of this post you’ll be wondering why you never took advantage of such a great tool! When I signed up for Bloglovin’ a few years ago I had no idea how to best utilize it to build up my website traffic & following. I figured I would just post and see what happened – but there are actually things you can do intentionally to make your content more interesting to those scanning their Bloglovin’ feed.   Why You Need Bloglovin'

Why You Need to Sign Up For Bloglovin

Bloglovin’ Provides Feedback!

When you sign up for Bloglovin’ you’ll almost instantly be able to gauge which posts are most interesting to your readers, and which aren’t. Bloglovin’s readers are able to “like” and “save” your content which will help you create content that you know your readers will be interested in.

Bloglovin’ Provides Passive Traffic to Your Blog

Your posts are automatically posted to Bloglovin. You don’t have to post it on that platform, and you do not need to schedule it. It posts directly on to the Bloglovin platform and instantly shows up to those that had subscribed. This helps create a consistent flow of traffic to your website without any real work on your part!

And, Bloglovin’ Gives Free Marketing

Not only does Bloglovin share all your content automatically; it also suggests your blog to new users and to those who get weekly updates. Your website is being marketed to an audience that you don’t even know about!

Why You Need Bloglovin'

How to Ensure Your Blog is Being SEEN On Bloglovin

Create Engaging Content

Once you’ve got down what intrigues your readers, you’ll be able to tailor your content to best suit them. You’ll notice those posts will have more consistent likes, shares, and pageviews. If you’re not sure how to provide authentic and informative posts then check out my recent guide on how to create great blog content!

Choose Eye-Catching Titles and Photos

The images you choose to represent your posts are important. On Bloglovin’ (and pretty much every other platform) typically all you really get to see is the title and a snippet of your first blog image – so make sure those are both on point!

Post Regularly

Keep the feed on your Bloglovin’ regular so you can consistently see improvement in both your following and your traffic.

Plus, people like to follow someone who they can look forward to new engaging posts from, so be that person!

Be Active on Your Bloglovin’ Account

Sign on and follow, like, and save bloggers and posts you enjoy. Nothing will make people more active on your Bloglovin’ than being active yourself.

Save Your Own Posts!

You don’t have to ONLY save what other people write – save your own blog posts, too! Make your content even more accessible to your followers by saving it to your Bloglovin’s personal profiles saved content pages. If they are following your personal page then it’ll help them see your blog more frequently.
