Kristin Ess Haircare Review | I was sent the Kristin Ess products quite some time ago, and I have thoroughly tested them and tried them. While the product was supplied, the opinions noted below are 100% my own.
I recently updated my hair colour in a really big way. I don’t change my hair colour very often, but after going green a few months ago, my hair didn’t fade back to the colour it originally was.
Instead, I was left with a slight green cast that I just couldn’t get rid of. So, I went to Lauren at Workshop Salon and we gave my hair a total makeover – and I love it.
Lauren McKay at Workshop Salon is the genius/mastermind behind my hair.
I am always nervous to damage my hair like I did years ago – read about my hair horror story. So, we avoided using a lot of bleach by first clarifying my hair. This removes the green from my hair (typically bleach needs to be used to remove brighter colours). Then, she put some baby lights in my hair just to brighten my hair colour overall.

Purple Shampoo & Conditioner Review
With my new hair comes a new hair care routine. Lately, I’ve been using the Kristin Ess haircare set for blondes.
The Kristin Ess purple shampoo and Kristin Ess purple conditioner duo softly rid your hair of brassy tones without stripping your hair. You leave the shampoo in for about 3 minutes, then wash it out, and then use the conditioner. I typically leave the conditioner in for about 5 minutes before rinsing.
I still use my Milkshake Silver Shampoo when my hair really needs a kickback to the brass-free side, but in general, I’ve found the Kristin Ess has maintained my hair colour.
Air Dry Creme Review
Aside from the shampoo and conditioner, I’ve been using the Kristin Ess hair styling products. The is legit one of my new favourite products.
I rarely blow-dry my hair. I typically just lightly dry my hair with a towel, and then I let it air dry. I half do this because I am lazy, and half because I try to avoid damaging my hair at all costs.
So, unless I have something important to go to, and I need to get ready fast, I will let my hair dry naturally.
I love that the Kristin Ess Air Dry Creme is specifically for air drying because I feel like there are so few products on the market that are for those who want to skip blow-drying their hair. For me, this product is basically like a leave-in conditioner.
It smoothes your hair, gets rid of tangles, and makes it look silky and soft. I have quite frizzy and dry hair naturally so I have been so impressed by how this product makes my hair look so soft, so silky, and so frizz-free. I love it!

The final product I’ve been using daily is the Kristin Ess haircare and you guys – this product is a game changer. This serum has quickly shot its way to being my go-to hair serum.
Its name is totally correct: it’s weightless. I’ve never found this serum to make my hair look or feel greasy, instead, it makes my hair look super shiny and feel really healthy.
I typically apply 1 pump to my hair when wet, and then 1 pump once dry. I’ve found this helps the ends of my hair look healthier and more uniform.
