How to Get Your BEST Looking Skin
One thing I do on a daily basis to help my skin is drink water. I think about 3L of water every single day – sometimes more depending on my workout schedule. Water helps hydrate your entire body, and it’s a crucial part of one’s skin and health care routine. In addition, you also want to create a routine – and stick to it. It’s easy to always switch up products (especially for us bloggers), but creating a routine and sticking to it will help improve the look of your skin overtime. Now, onto to the skincare I use:Watch my Full Skincare Routine for Clear Skin on Youtube!
Clarisonic Deep Pore Mia 2
I received the Clarisonic Deep Pore Mia 2 a few weeks ago and have been using it nearly every day since. This soft cleansing brush elevates the cleansing experience by cleaning your skin 6X better than cleansing with your hands – crazy, right? The device has two speeds – delicate and universal. I personally have been using the delicate mode and have found it incredibly soothing and gentle on my skin. Best of all, the Clarisonic Deep Pore Mia 2 eliminates the guessing of how long to use it for by timing itself for you. Unlike having to guess whether or not you’ve cleansed your skin for long enough, the Clarisonic Deep Pore Mia 2 times our 60 seconds total so you know just how long you have cleansed your skin for. In addition, it also breaks down that 60 seconds into 20 second intervals (beeping when the time is up) so you know when it’s time to stop focusing on one area of the face, and move onto the next. On the box instructions, it notes that you can use this device in the shower or bathtub on your skin, though I have yet to try it like that but I am curious to if it makes skin even softer because of the steam from the water! **With the holidays coming up, this would be such an amazing gift for all the skincare lovers in your life! I use a cleanser daily to ensure that my skin looks and feels it’s best. Lately, I’ve been alternating between the Clarisonic Deep Pore Cleanser and my S-Energy Facial Mousse cleanser. The Clarisonic Deep Pore Cleanser is a bit more drying on my skin, which is good for days when my skin is feeling oily, as the S-Energy Facial Mousse cleanser is a bit more gentle and best for days when my skin just needs a light refresh. The Clarisonic Deep Pore Cleanser instantly makes your pores look smaller, but if you struggle with dry skin it may also make your skin feel drier. I would recommend the Clarisonic Deep Pore Cleanser for those with oilier skin types.Clarisonic Deep Pore Detoxifying Clay Mask
Another product I’ve been using lately is the Clarisonic Deep Pore Detoxifying Clay Mask. I only use this about 1 time per week as it is a drying formula, but I have found that it’s helped me achieve better balanced skin on my T-zone. Since stepping up my fitness routine a few months ago, I have found that my t-zone can be problematic at times. It had been getting a bit more oily and acne prone than I am used to, and this clay mask really helped eliminate that issue. I have been using this mask every Friday after my workout class, and then I follow up with my usual skincare routine. All About Eyes Clinique Eye Cream
I have been using this eye cream for about the last year now, and honestly I love it. I find this eye cream to be super hydrating and that it really does everything it claims to do – which is, reduce the look of dark circles and undereye puffiness. It also says it helps hold makeup in place without crepping which I have also found – it’s one of my undereye concealer secret weapons! I typically use this product twice daily – once in the morning, and once at night. My number #1 skincare concern has always been my eyes because they can look really tired, dark, and puffy – and I’ve found that even on my most tired of days that the has really helped diminish those issues.Paula’s Choice CALM Redness Relief Repairing Serum
Over the last few months, I have been using the Paula’s Choice CALM Redness Relief Repairing Serum and I have found that it works incredibly well for my skin. Most serums irritate my skin, or leave my skin feeling bumpy or tacky; but this serum is super light weight and quickly absorbs into my skin leaving it feeling hydrated and soft. I use this serum each night before bed.Rodan and Fields Redefine Lip Renewing Serum
I’ve complained about my chapped lips on here more than a few times, and I’ve even shared a few of my chapped lip remedies. But, over the last few months I’ve began using the Rodan and Fields Redefine Lip Renewing Serum and it has really helped sooth my dry-prone lips. I use to wake up in the morning with shockingly dry lips, but that now seems like a thing of the past. Of course, I still struggle with dry lips (especially when the seasons change) but this has helped reduce just how chapped they look and feel. So, those have been my skincare go-to’s lately – and I plan to stick with them! I have been so impressed with how well this routine has been working with my skin. What are your go to skincare products?
