We all know it. I am beauty obsessed.
I love makeup, skincare, and all things beauty related. For me, getting up and doing my skincare or makeup routine is like a calming ritual. Seriously.

Even on my wedding day, I made sure that I allowed myself time to do my usual skincare routine, a rejuvenating face mask, and then my bridal makeup look.
I didn’t just do this because I wanted to look refreshed and radiant on my wedding day (though, of course, that was the goal for my look for the day), it was mostly because I wanted to give myself time to calm my nerves.
I wanted to be sure that, before walking down the aisle, that I would feel a sense of calm that would allow me to really be in the moment and soak-up everything.
So anyway, makeup is more than just a routine for me and that’s a big reason why I love to try out new brands and new products.

Nude by Nature Makeup
A few months ago, I had the joy of attending a PR event for Nude by Nature. As they were just launching in Canada exclusively at Shoppers Drug Mart locations, they wanted to share a few of their products and hear our feedback.
I was immediately taken in by their beautiful palettes, the natural finish of their powder foundation, and their stunning highlights, but I had no idea just how much I would adore the full line of products.

“We are proudly 100% cruelty-free and PETA certified. Nude by Nature does not support testing in animals of any kind. The products are 100% naturally derived ingredients, and formulated without synthetic ingredients or preservatives.” – Nude by Nature

Nude by Nature Review
Nude by Nature Radiant Loose Powder Foundation
Since then, I’ve found myself reaching often for the Nude by Nature Radiant Loose Powder Foundation and many other products. The foundation though has specifically really impressed me.

Typically you’d expect a powdered foundation to be, well, powdery – but this foundation seems to heat up when applied and as it’s blended out, the powdery finish shifts into a more natural, soft, satin-like look.
It’s almost as though it warms and adjusts to a liquid foundations texture when applied to the skin. I also love the packaging.
The packaging is not only beautiful, but it’s incredibly practical as the lid has a stopper which prevents the product from tufting or spilling out when opened.
This makes it an excellent product for travel.

Nude by Nature Natural Glow bronzer Review
The Nude by Nature Natural Glow bronzer is another product I’ve found myself really liking.
While it has a warmer tone than I’d usually go for, I have found that, when used with a light hand, it can add such a beautiful and soft bronze to the skin.
Like the foundation, the packaging for the bronzer also has a stopper, which again, I am a fan of.

Nude by Nature Translucent Loose Finishing Powder Review
The Nude by Nature Translucent Loose Finishing Powder is another item from the Nude by Nature collection that I’ve found myself reaching for often.
This powder is super fine and delicate. It is great for baking under the eyes, or along the jawline when contouring, and it’s also excellent is you just want to lightly set all over the face.
This powder has not left my makeup looking dry or cakey, and I have experienced any issues with flashback. And again, this product has the handy stopper on the packaging.

Nude by Nature Precision Brow Mascara Review
One product that has surprised me with just how much I like it is the Nude by Nature Precision Brow Mascara. I rarely ever sway from my Benefit Gimme Brow Gel, but the Nude by Nature brow gel is really making a run for #1.
I love the packaging on this gel, again it feels very luxurious, but mainly I love it because of the thin small wand. It allows you to be very precise when applying the gel.
This gel is also very thin, so unlike other gel products I’ve used, you’ll never accidentally place a glob of brow gel on your eyebrow and not be able to blend it out!
This product is super easy to work with and it makes my brows look great and stay in place all day long.

Nude by Nature Shimmer Loose Sands Review
Ah, the loose pigments – one of my very favourite products… Ever. These Nude by Nature Shimmer Loose Sands have proven to be some of my very favourite items.
If my makeup ever feels like it’s falling flat, I add one of these pigments to the look to brighten it up. If I want something glam, I turn to these pigments. If I forget a highlighter – I use one of these pigments as a substitute.
These are so beautiful, and they add such a beautiful pop of colour to your makeup. The only thing about these pigments is that they can be quite messy when you remove the applicator from the tube.
Expect to have pigment everywhere! You’ve been warned!

Nude by Nature’s Cashmere Pressed Blush in Soft Coral
One of my all-time favourite blushes is Nude by Nature’s Cashmere Pressed Blush in Soft Coral. I love coral tones, and this blush is that perfect warm, terracotta, coral.
This blush is highly pigmented, so a little of the product goes a long way, and it just adds the most beautiful flush of colour to your cheeks.

Nude By Nature Highlighters
The last items I want to mention are the highlighters. I have one Nude by Nature Highlight Palette, 1 liquid highlighter, and 1 highlighting stick and I absolutely adore them all.
The palette has 3 beautiful and wearable shades, the liquid doesn’t seem to be available anymore but I believe they had 3 shades, and the highlighting stick comes in 3 shades, I have it in Champagne.
The palette shades appear bright and beautiful on their own, but when layered over the stick highlight, they become truly blinding.
I absolutely love wearing these together. I also love the Touch of Glow Highligh Stick for quick and easy body highlighting. For my friend’s wedding, I used this highlighting stick to brighten up my shoulders and collarbone area.
The liquid highlighter offers a bit more of a natural glow. It’s more subtle and works beautifully as a natural daytime highlight.
