My Morning Skincare Routine | Medical Grade Skincare

I received these products some time ago from Delta Laser. There was absolutely no obligation to post regarding these products, but I wanted to share my thoughts and my current morning skincare routine.

My Morning Skincare Routine

My Morning Skincare Routine

I take my skincare pretty seriously.

A couple of years ago, I began really looking into products that would improve the look of my skin, fight the signs of aging, and get rid of blemishes.

I’ve tried lots of skincare products, and I’ve liked lots, but ZO skincare has been the very first medical-grade skincare I’ve ever used, and I have to say – it’s made a pretty big impact on my skin.

The skincare routine is quite intensive, but the results I’ve had have made the jump from 2-3 products in the morning to 5 seem worthwhile.

STEP 1: ZO Skin Health Gentle Cleanser

Before I do anything else in my skincare routine, I cleanse. Cleansing is so important to remove any unwanted oils, dirt, or grime from your skin. It gives you a clean base to work on.

This cleanser is a soft gel cleanser. It doesn’t feel like it’s stripping your skin, instead, it just feels like it’s softly cleaning your skin.

STEP 2: ZO Skin Health Exfoliating Polish || 2-3 Times Weekly

I don’t scrub my skin daily, instead, Delta Laser recommended I only use this scrub 2-3 times weekly.

Scrubs remove dead skin cells. It’s important to remove dead skin cells to prevent clogged pores and breakouts.

Since my skin is sensitive though, scrubs can be hard on my skin which is why I don’t use the scrub daily. This light icy blue scrub is very fine and very gritty.

I usually find that for about 5 minutes after using this scrub, my skin appears fairly red. It doesn’t feel damaging, but it does feel like it’s getting rid of any dead skin on your face.

Step 3: ZO Daily Power Defense

The ZO Daily Power Defense is a serum rich in antioxidants. This serum helps soften the look of fine lines and wrinkles and helps to prevent future damage and aging.

This serum is thick and creamy upon application but then quickly absorbs in. It has a very soft cream-meets-gel texture to it which I find very soothing on my skin.

STEP 4: ZO Skin Health Sunscreen + Primer

The final step with my ZO skincare products is the ZO Sunscreen + Primer.

I love this product so much, it feels so soft and gentle on the skin, and it helps protect your skin from harmful rays. I often wear just this product on my skin as it has a really beautiful blurring effect which I love.

But, you can also easily wear this under your makeup just like any other primer.

STEP 5: Kiehl’s Avocado Eye Cream

My final step is always eye cream. In the AM, I always use my Kiehl’s Avocado Eye cream.

I feel like it instantly brightens my under eyes – and maybe I am crazy, but I feel like the slight green tone helps reduce the look of purple/red under my eyes in the morning.

I have always taken eye care very seriously, so I always apply an eye cream in both the AM and the PM.
