It’s an incredible feeling to walk down that aisle knowing that the person you’re walking towards is the person you’ve always been walking towards in life. I am a shy person, and public speaking has always terrified me, but seeing Jeremy in that moment instantly washed away any fears I had of speaking my vows aloud. I couldn’t wait to read him my vows, and to let him know of all the things I’ve loved about him so much these last 8 years.
I know it sounds cheesy, but I truly feel and know that I have found my person in life. And, I feel so lucky. That day is just a symbol for the love we have felt the years we’ve been together, and the love we will continue to feel for years to come. We’ve had hurdles, struggles, moments of strength and weakness, we’ve had highs and successes, and we’ve always come out cheering one another on. There’s so much more I could say, but since this is just a sneak peek, I’ll end with this: I love the path we’ve chosen in life, and that we’ve chosen to walk it together.
